Projects Section Is Complete - ( 12/20/2008 : 05:24PM )

I finished work on the Projects section of the web site today. There was quite a bit of behind the scenes work involved in this but it is done and I'm happy with it.

Right now there are 2 projects listed. The first is one called Q Traveller. This is a game idea that I came up with over 10 years ago during the prime days of the Quake 1 engine. Originally the 'Q' was short for the word "Quake", now it is short for "Quantum". This updated version uses a new engine but is currently in an inactive development state.

The second project listed is a game that I worked on and completed many years ago called Eternal War. This game has recently been released for free by the publisher so be sure and check it out! It comes in a whopping 65mb size!

It seems I only get time to work on personal projects on the weekends. So I'm finally getting back around to fixing a few things after the site launch last week. One issue that was immediately apparent involved News or Comment entries that contained too many characters. These couldn't be added to the database because of a little misuse of data types on my part. If you can read this entire entry then the problem has now been fixed. :)

I also plan to do some work on the Projects section today. Hopefully I'll get something up tonight or tomorrow.

It's been a few years since I've really worked on my website. I've had different placeholder pages up here over the years but now I've finally put something real together. The projects and about section are still down right now but they will be up soon.
